"EEDS is also a community. A team with a colourful future. EEDS has dedicated members around the globe. The bonds between EEDS members will last a life time." (Matt, 2016)
"We support EEDS because we believe that we have a responsibility to ourselves, future generations, and all other living beings to replenish our planet with the resources vital to sustaining life. We constantly marvel at the fact that humans have had and will continue to have an alarmingly large impact on the future of our planet. We are therefore presented with a great burden and perhaps an even greater opportunity. We can either continue to mindlessly consume Earth's resources and thus stymie our potential for growth and sustained life; or we can harness our collective energy, alter our consumption habits and embrace sustainable ways of living, invest in renewable resources and repopulate the planet with the essential elements for survival, and ensure the greatest chance for all life to flourish. EEDS and other sustainable development initiatives have given us hope that we will opt for the latter."
